Validation of Analytical Solutions for Predicting Drilled Pile Behaviour under Bi-Directional Static Load Tests

A bi-directional static load test (BDSLT) is one of the most effective methods for accurately estimating pile bearing capacity, in which divided into two portions by activating single-loading device welded along shaft. BDSLT, thus, eliminates safety concerns and space limitations imposed reaction system, as compared to conventional tests (kentledge). Based on this study’s project requirements, loading devices (supercells) were shaft provide sufficient capacity under an equivalent method was applied interpret measured load–settlement response.
